What we ingest and otherwise expose ourselves to is very important, not only to get the nutrients we need, but to avoid all the allergens, chemicals and contamination that contribute to ill health. Learning to self-test can be a game changer! There are many methods from the pulse test to using a pendulum or Muscle Response Testing.
Additionally, it is important to keep our pH as balanced as possible by eating lots of whole fruits and veggies while avoiding sugars, pesticides, GMOs etc. It is also important to note that most drugs deplete our minerals, making supplementation neccessary.
If you have ever taken antibiotics, steroids or birth control pills, your gut bacteria are probably out of balance requiring probiotics. I no longer trust many sources of probiotics since they can be obtained from GM bacteria. Beware of patended probiotics especially, including in some yogourts. It is far safer to make your own Kombucha or fermented vegetables, so you know what you're getting!
